Al Nelson is a 487-month-old American Indian artist hailing from New Mexico, USA. With over two decades of professional tattooing experience, he’s mastered the art of black & grey and color realism, though he enjoys exploring everything in between.

When he’s not creating stunning tattoos, Al can be found painting, sketching, doodling, snowboarding, wrestling small aquatic creatures, plotting world domination, or traveling alongside his loyal sidekick, Geronimo.

A man of strong opinions and sharper lines, Al has no love for pigeons and proudly claims his Libra status.

This August 27th - September 10th, Al will be guest spotting at Snowwolf Ink in Portland, Oregon, and is now accepting appointments.
