Brandon Davenport’s connection to tattooing began early, growing up surrounded by the buzzing machines, bold art, and creative energy of the tattoo world. In 2017, he began his formal apprenticeship under his father, Nerm Davenport, a local tattoo legend that specialized in new school at Can I Play With Madness Tattoos, laying the foundation for what would become a dedicated and evolving career.

Originally from Reno, Nevada, Brandon now tattoos full-time at Desert Rose Reno Tattoo, bringing a vibrant, character-driven style to his clients. His specialty lies in new school tattooing — known for bold colors, animated expressions, and clean, impactful designs that are built to last.

Brandon views each tattoo as a collaboration — a chance to blend his artistic approach with the client’s vision to create something both meaningful and memorable. He believes that tattooing isn’t just about aesthetics, but about connection, creativity, and storytelling through skin.

This September 14–17, Brandon will be guest spotting at Snowwolf Ink in Portland, Oregon, and is now accepting appointments.
